Good Search

 

So I know everyone out there in wonder-space uses search engines all the time, you probably don’t even realize how often you do. So now imagine if every time you did a search, someone donated money to some good cause. Like say a school in Puerto Rico for deaf kids. Wouldn’t that be nice.

So check this, you go to http://www.goodsearch.com/ and type in Evangelical School for the Deaf, or Surfrider under “who do you goodsearch for?” then search as normal, and you are helping a good cause.

127 Days Notice.

Today I informed my boss I would be taking an extended leave from work, to spend the some time with my Uncle Geoff in England.

His response made me laugh.

“Oh… you’ll have to quit, and re-apply when you get back.”

Seriously. Thats just funny.

So I technically have handed in my 127 days notice. Looking on the bright side, I’ll be in England for over a month, and I’ve prevented myself from being stuck working for Trader Joe’s, I never intended it to be a career anyway.

I know its only July, but i’m already thinking, 2009 will be a whole new world for me.

England, Here I Come.

About 2 months ago, I decided I would be spending the 2008 Holiday Season / 2009 New Years in England. Today, a deposit of $500 into my “England” Bank Account will mark the money made and saved to purchase my plane ticket for December 1st, and return ticket for January 15th.
